Holiday Retreat Projects! (yes, finally)

Here are a few of the projects that are offered for the holiday retreat. We have a couple more but are waiting for the supplies to come to finish the samples. (check back on Friday morn!) To see how cute they really are you can come into the store and see them! (For all you touchy feely people like me!)

We want to do something else fun this year! We thought a cookie exchange would be fun! Just bring at least 4 dozen of your favorite homemade cookies and the recipe (typed to fit in a 6x6 sheet protector, we will copy enough for everyone). Just think of how many fun new recipes you could go home with!

You could just take the recipe or make the cute binder that is shown for only $15.00.

Fall or Boo blocks: each block is approx. 4" square.

Fall set is $9.00

Boo set is $7.00

Christmas traditions wood mini album: $18.00 (The album is shown open and closed.)

Christmas or Halloween flip album: $10.00

Large photo cube (5 1/2"): $13.00

Remember our kits come with everything you need except adhesive, mod podge, and ink. (paint will be provided for those that require paint for those completing the kits at the retreat.)

Call and reserve your kit ASAP as some kits are limited. All kits must be prepaid at the time of ordering. Make sure you give your email address when you sign up so that we can email you a list of what you need to bring for each project. We can't wait it's going to be fun!

HOLIDAY RETREAT!

Due to all the requests, we are going to hold a Holiday Retreat this year. However, it will be a little different than our normal retreats. (Hopefully better!) Instead of doing one of each project you get to pick which projects you want to do and how many! If you want to do 10 of one project and get a bunch of gifts done, go for it! If you want to just come for part of the day and do a couple projects, that's fine to. All you pay for is the projects you sign up for. Hopefully this will make it so that those who can't afford the entire retreat, or can't be gone for the whole day, can still come and enjoy themselves.
We should have the projects posted here within a couple weeks. (Sorry, it is taking me a while to get caught up from my daughters wedding. It pretty much consumed my entire summer, but it was great!) You can call the store and sign up for your kits, and all kits must be prepaid with no refunds since kits will be made as they are ordered.
The day of the retreat is Saturday, October 10. Doors will open at 9 am for you to start making your projects, however you can come whenever you want! You will have access to our retreat room and tools until 7:00 that evening.
Some kits may be limited so be sure and sign up early!

Yes, we are still here!

What a year it has been! I haven't kept up on this blog and it's about time that I did! We have been remodeling our house and it has consumed almost every waking moment!
We had the Spring Retreat and it was a success! (at least that is what everyone said) My life was a little crazy at the time. We were living in our basement with no kitchen and one bathroom, and my husband was working out of town. March is pretty much a blurr to me. Hopefully now I can get back to the fun stuff like scrapping! Remember we scrap every Thursday at the store. All you have to do is call and tell us that you will be coming so we can have a spot ready for you.
We are doing a new club every month. Club SEI has been alot of fun. You can view the upcoming kits online at clubsei.com. Just remember to sign up by the 20th of the previous month.

It's Beginning to look alot like Christmas........

I know we haven't even had Thanksgiving! However, people are starting to think about Christmas a little early because everyone seems to be on a strict budget. We have some great ideas to make your Christmas a Homemade Christmas. All of the fun projects we did at the Holiday Retreat are on display and we have some kits available. We have some GREAT Christmas lines of paper and embellishments to get you excited about making your Christmas cards.
We only have about 30 spots left for the Spring Retreat! If you haven't gotten yours yet, you better get on it before they are gone!

Spring Retreat tickets go on sale Saturday!

Get yours before they are gone! Spring Retreat tickets go on sale on November 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.! Here's the details:
Date of Retreat, March 14, 2009
Price: $110 plus tax (approx. 116.99).
You can make a deposit to hold your spot (minimum deposit $50), however, all deposits are non-refundable. If you find that you can't come to the retreat, you may sell your spot. There will be a $20 transfer fee after February 1, 2009.
It will be great fun! It will be here before we know it!

Holiday Retreat was Great Fun!

Thanks to everyone who attended the Holiday Retreat this year! It was alot of fun and hopefully everyone got some great ideas for the Holidays! We made cards, an acrylic album, a calendar, and lots of other gift ideas for the holidays. Come in the store to see all the projects, we even have some kits left over.

Holy New Product BATMAN!!

We have so many new cute halloween lines, it makes me want to pull out all of my Halloween Pictures (Yes, I have years worth just like everyone else!) and get scrapping! We have the new Black Out Line from We R (it's going fast!), Spooky line from MME, and some new fun papers from Flair.
We are excited to be hosting a monthly club again. Club SEI will be held monthly. (One of my favorite Companies!) You can enroll or quit anytime, or just do one month at a time. We have the October kit on display at the store (Sorry, October membership has already passed). Come in for more information. Sign-ups are by the 20th of the previous monhth, for example November members must contact us by October 20th.
